Welcome to Soille Hebrew Day School.  I look forward to the opportunity to welcome you in person, to offer you a warm cup of tea or a cool glass of water, and to share with you the happy and uplifting school environment in which our students are growing and developing. 

This website is helpful in giving you an idea of who we are, what we value, and the aspirations we hold highest for our students and for our community.  But reading about us, and enjoying the pictures is a pale substitute for visiting, speaking with us, and for seeing for yourself why you would like to join our community of families and supporters.

We are approaching an exciting milestone in the history of our school, as we will be marking Soille Hebrew Day's 50^th Anniversary year during the 2011/2012 school year.  We move toward this celebration with great excitement, typical of a vibrant and inspiring center of learning.  Our clear vision is to be ever more respectful, caring, and diverse as a community, guided by Torah; to raise students engaged in Torah study, which is integral to the development of Jewish identity, pursuing academic excellence in both Judaic and general studies, and possessing good character and the inclination to be leaders.  When you visit, you will be able to see how well these goals fit together, and how this program makes San Diego a wonderful city in which to raise an outstanding Jewish child.
