Welcome and thank you for visiting Soille San Diego Hebrew Day School’s website! As a discerning parent, you are seeking to provide your child with the foundation to live a successful and meaningful life. You are looking in the right place.
I hope you find the information you need while touring this site. No virtual depiction tells Soille Hebrew Day’s story as compellingly as a campus visit, so I hope you will follow up this virtual tour by coming in to see us. You will see students engaged in active learning, and mastering the moral compass of good character. You will meet caring and capable teachers who generously provide assistance and encouragement, and who use their talents to accelerate the development of each child.
Founded in 1963 and attracting families from every segment of San Diego’s Jewish community, Soille Hebrew Day School is an inclusive, community Orthodox day school, encompassing infant, preschool, elementary and Middle School programs. Our two generations of graduates confirm our confidence in the timeless importance of engaging children in Torah study in combination with rigorous academics in every area.
Through our leadership training and outreach service programs, our Middle School students see themselves as valuable members of the Jewish community, and experience special joy in helping others. In combination with their academic achievements, they rightfully emerge with the resilience to face challenge, and the confidence and competence to be ethical leaders. We celebrate the emerging greatness of our students and our graduates, as we welcome our third generation of students enrolling today.
We are an inclusive community genuinely respectful of all others. We thereby overcome the growing divides and fissures within the community, and proudly, Soille Hebrew Day brings together diverse families sharing the goal of raising their children upon this proven foundation for success.
We are delighted to host you for a tour and to share information about our school. Please contact our Director of Admissions, Beth Licha, at 858-279-3300, extension 109, or firstname.lastname@example.org .
