I teach math, reading, writing, and social studies to fifth grade students. Guiding students through self-discovery and independence in their learning is one of my many goals as an educator. Throughout my education at the University of Oregon, my focus and passion has always been in elementary education. I later perused a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Denver. This is my second school year here at Soille Hebrew Day and could not be more excited for the major milestones that 5th graders will be accomplishing from now until June!

I am thrilled and excited to have the honor and opportunity to be your children’s’ fifth grade Judaic teacher! Born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, I grew up absorbing the passion to learn and teach from my exceptional teachers and Rabbis. Following the path of education, I obtained my Rabbinical ordination before joining three years of service in the Israeli Air Force as a Rabbi. Upon immigrating to the United States, I pursued a Master of Science degree in educational leadership. For almost three decades, I held a variety of Teaching and Administration positions in Jewish and secular education settings. As a fellow Soille Hebrew Day parent, I deeply appreciate your commitment to our Jewish heritage. I am positively thrilled to be focusing strictly on education this year, as that has always been my passion! I intend, with G-d’s help, to nurture and deepen the connection and understanding of our children to Hashem and His Torah.
