You have made an excellent decision to consider giving your child the gift of a Jewish Day School education at Soille Hebrew Day School. The following is our admissions information packet. Please call us with questions to guide you through the application process.

Admissions Policy

Soille San Diego Hebrew Day School offers a standard of excellence in both Jewish and General studies through an enriched integrated curriculum. Admission to the Soille Hebrew Day is open to all Jewish children. Our families represent every spectrum of Jewish observance.

A child's readiness will be evaluated through assessments from the child's current teachers, recommendations, report cards and application information. Among factors considered in making a decision for admission are:

  • Age of child - Children are required to be of age on or before October 1st

(egi., kindergarteners must be age 5 by October 1, 2008)

  • The child's social and cognitive skills
  • The child's readiness assessment or interview with the Principal

Space is very limited in our preschool and elementary grades. Priority is given to:

  • Siblings of current students
  • Siblings of alumni
  • Children of alumni

Requests for admission will be considered individually for each child. Please review our admissions process on the following web pages. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your family.
