Admissions Process

Application Requirements

In order for a new student to be considered for enrollment, the following admission process steps must be completed:

All Applicants- Preschool, Elementary and Middle School

Submit completed Application for Admission to SSDHDS. Located on our school website under Admissions, Admission Process, Admissions Forms

Submit non-refundable tuition deposit of $600 per child

Submit a copy of applying student’s up-to-date immunization record

PS 3 - 8th grade Applicants

Submit a completed Authorization for Exchange of Information form to SSDHDS. Located on our school website under Admissions, Admission Process, Admissions Forms

Submit all required Recommendation Forms. Located on our school website under Admissions, Admission Process, Admissions Forms

2nd - 8th grade Applicants

Submit current school’s records, including report cards, academic and/or behavioral evaluations, etc

Schedule 2 consecutive Shadow Days for the applying student to visit with their current grade at SSDHDS for the full school day. The student will participate in an academic assessment during this visit. Contact Beth Licha, Director of Enrollment, to set this up- blicha@hebrewday.org

Kindergarten & 1st Grade Applicants

Schedule an appointment for applying student to participate in a readiness assessment at SSDHDS. Contact Giovanna Reinking, Director of Studies, to set this up- greinking@ssdhds.org

Preschool Applicants who are 3-4 years old

Schedule an appointment for applying student to meet with the SSDHDS Preschool Director. Contact Rachel Eden, Preschool Director, to set this up- reden@ssdhds.org

All New Applicant Parents- Preschool, Elementary and Middle School

Meet with SSDHDS Head of School, Rabbi Simcha Weiser. Contact Beth Licha, Director of Enrollment, to set this up- blicha@ssdhds.org
