Admissions Process

All Applicants- Preschool, Elementary and Middle School

Submit completed Application for Admission

□ Submit non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 per child.

□ Submit a copy of applying student’s up-to-date immunization record

PS 3 - 8th grade Applicants

□ Submit a completed Authorization for Exchange of Information form. 

□ Submit all required Recommendation Forms

2nd - 8th grade Applicants

□ Submit current school’s records, including report cards, academic and/or behavioral evaluations, etc

□ Schedule Shadow Days for the applying student to visit with their current grade at SDHD for the full school day. The student will participate in an academic assessment with Director of Education, Giovanna Reinking during this visit. 

Kindergarten & 1st Grade Applicants

□ Schedule an appointment for applying student to participate in a readiness assessment at SDHD with Director of Education, Giovanna Reinking.

Preschool Applicants who are 3-4 years old

□ Schedule an appointment for applying student to meet with the SDHD Preschool Director, Naomi Shakhman.

All New Applicant Parents- Preschool, Elementary and Middle School

□ Schedule a meeting with SDHD Head of School, Rabbi Simcha Weiser by contacting eworkman@ssdhds.org.
